10 Must Have iPhone Apps

Apple released it's all time list of iPhone apps so we feel it's our duty to ensure that you have that list! Warning – some of these might not be free, but hey, sometimes you just have to "buck" up!

Paper Toss – Backflip Studios - Everyone, regardless of job type, has grabbed nearby objects and tried to throw them in to, or on to various ledges or trash cans. Thankfully, there’s a virtual way to do it, with Paper Toss, alternating fan “wind” speeds make throwing scrunched up paper an enjoyable and tidy challenge.

Skype – Skype Software S.a.r.l - There aren’t many people left on earth, at least in western civilisation, who haven’t heard of Skype. To be able to call anyone else in the world for free is incredible. Now the app allows video calling over 3G and WiFi, it’s bound to become more popular than ever.

Bump – Bump Technologies LLC - There’s never been an easier way to share contact information than by using this app. Just connect with an nearby iPhone wielder and bump devices to hand over digital business cards. Brilliant.

Google Earth – Google  - An incredible resource, made even more intuitive by adding it to an iDevice. With multitouch, and a fluid response to gestures, it’s a truly incredible app.

The Weather Channel® – The Weather Channel Interactive - Planning on heading downtown, or out in to the country for a day out? The first thing most people do before heading out is checking what the weeather’s going to do, hence the insanely popular Weather Channel app for iPhone.

Movies by Flixster – Free – Flixster - One of our favorite apps currently. This is a must-have app for any movie fans with links to Rotten Tomatoes for instant reviews, plus other content including trailers and theatre showing times.

Shazam – Shazam Entertainment Ltd. - Brilliantly useful, fitting that gap in the market that meant no one needed ever be irritated by the question “What’s that song again?” Again, one used frequently by us, mostly when we suddenly hear a song on TV that we take a liking to. With its instant link to iTunes for downloading, it offers all it needs to.

Google Mobile App – Google - With Google being the most popularly used search engine it was inevitable that when an app was released, millions would adopt it. It’s very useful, with its voice search, Goggles feature, plus access to other web apps, including docs and Gmail.

Pandora Radio – Pandora Media, Inc. - A well designed, and very successful radio app, giving you access to your favorite tunes, and with multitasking capabilities to enable background playing.

Facebook – Facebook - The world’s most popular social networking site, in what is arguably its best mobile solution. Easy to use, and with pretty much all the features you get on the full site.
